For a long time, I believed there was a right way to write. Then I understood something essential: every author has their own voice.
When I started writing in 2008, my style was very different. My characters, my descriptions, my way of conveying emotions... everything has evolved over time. Today, I fully embrace my poetic writing, my slow-burn romances, and the characters that naturally emerge from my imagination.
I mainly write from a male point of view. My stories give as much importance to emotions, gestures, and silences as they do to dialogue. This is my way of telling stories of love, healthy relationships, and intertwined destinies.
I've also heard that one can "write badly." However, no toxic remark should make you doubt your worth as an author. Your style doesn't need to resemble others' to be legitimate.
What unique quality have you learned to accept about yourself over time? 🤎
Every author is authentic
