Before my arrival at Les Imaginales at the end of the month, I'll be stopping at the Hartzviller Mother's Day Fair for an appointment that is particularly close to my heart.
Organized by the Elemiah association, this event supports people suffering from Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers. You'll find my novels there alongside some thirty local artisans and creators.
Near Sarrebourg (57), it's a great opportunity to give, treat yourself, and also support a local association whose aim is to create and operate an autonomous day-care center (for Alzheimer's and related diseases...) and also a Caregivers' Cafe (for family and professional caregivers).
This cause resonates for a particular reason, as my mother is affected by a related disease that is still too little known: Lewy body disease. I can't wait to discover Elemiah's world, to chat with you, and to support their projects in a few days.
If you're in the area, come say hello at the fair, and which book would you like to have signed there?
